In her more than 20 years in the fitness industry, Madeleine has
been featured as the star, the choreographer, or both ,
in over 60 workout videos in an amazingly diverse range of subjects,
from weight loss and weight training to flexibility, pregnancy, boxing,
salsa, walking and even an award-winning series of children's fitness
programming
Recently, Madeleine has appeared as both the star and the choreographer
in ten different fitness products for health and wellness industry
leader Gaiam, including workouts for children, weight loss and flexibility
training. Among her most popular are two stretching programs, AM
Stretch and PM Stretch. These
two programs are designed to gently but thoroughly stretch the entire
body at the beginning and end of each day. Her most recent project
for Gaiam is Get Moving - Walking for Weight Loss, a
motivational non-intimidating, can-do 40 minute program designed
for the beginner exerciser. Her On the Ball series
of children's fitness workouts has won prestigious awards from both
fitness and parent's organizations, and had been featured on CNN.
Madeleine's latest video release is the Extreme Makeover
Fitness Weight Loss Workout, on which she served
as Executive Producer, Director and Choreographer. She was also
the Executive Producer and Choreographer on Kathy Smith's best-selling Moving
Through Menopause, which was featured on the Oprah
Show. In addition, she produced and directed Kathy Smith's two
best selling Pilates workouts, Pilates for Abs and Pilates
for the Lower Body .
She has also starred in and choreographed the Buns of
Steel Pregnancy Workout , and the Buns
of Steel Post-Pregnancy Workout, both perennial
best sellers. In recognition of her preeminent standing in the
field of fitness programming she was honored to become a Sponsored
Athlete by Nike, and subsequently to be chosen to serve for four
years as a Team Leader in the prestigious Nike Network ,
an elite selection of fitness industry leaders, who appeared
both across the country and internationally conducting educational
workshops.
Her extensive credits as a choreographer include more than twenty programs
for Kathy Smith, as well as programs for the National Aerobic Champions
Series, Elle McPherson, Tracey Scoggins, IDEA, AFAA, and others. In
addition, she was chosen to choreograph the inaugural Sundance Natural
Juice Sparkler Aerobics and Fitness Challenge. Her work in these and
other projects has received rave reviews from national publications
such as Shape, Glamour, Allure, American Fitness, New Body and New
